Tasting Notes: Some wineries take their Sauvignon Blanc to the extreme, either towards a racy, acid-fueled, crisp-fest or to the other end of the spectrum, an overly sweet, easy-drinking, straightforward party wine. The Stag's Hollow Sauvignon Blanc (with 3% Semillon added) fits nicely in the middle with a good balance of citrus acidity, grass notes, tangy green apple flavours and a hint of honeydew sweetness that challenges your nose and palate enough to keep you engaged without being too difficult to pair with food. Drink now-2014.
