Tasting Notes: One could never deny this Pinot's intensity. The nose spills from the glass with matured aromas of ripe cherry, cooked raspberry, vanilla bean and warm earth notes. The dry palate is equally intense and nearly full-bodied with a whopping 14.7% alcohol and concentrated, red fruit flavours framed by fine, mellowed tannins and mouth watering wild berry acidity.

Showing some brick colour now four years on from the dry and hot harvest of 2009 whose numerous heat units are responsible for the intensity of this Pinot produced on the edge of Canada's only true desert. Certainly ready to drink now and should last another 3-4 years with careful cellaring. Drink now-2016.

  1. A very nice wine. I might suggest a score higher than 88pts, but overall a great valued wine at an accesssible price point. One of the preferred Okanagon pinot noirs among the more refined wine drinkers on bay street.
